Laila Duwiejua holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and an MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School. Laila earned her Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from the University of London and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice Course (LPC) coupled with an LLM in Professional Legal Practice from the University of Law in Leeds. She has completed the Post Call programme at the Ghana School of Law and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. She recently completed her mandatory pupillage with the firm. Laila now leads the firm’s Energy, Infrastructure and Projects practice area group as the Lead Associate.
Prior to joining CQ Legal & Consulting, Laila worked as an Investment Banking Analyst with C-NERGY Ghana Limited for about five (5) years where she worked on transactions in excess of US$ 2 billion. She has also worked in the manufacturing industry for four (4) years where her role included facilitating imports and exports across various countries.
Laila has a keen interest in Banking & Finance, Mergers & Acquisition, Corporate & Commercial Law, Energy and Infrastructure.
